A year ago today, on a wet and windy November morning, I travelled down to Tipperary, to the wonderful Kilshane House. A wedding venue that soon after arriving at for the first time, became one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland. There I would meet Clémentine and Jamie, who’s wedding encapsulated everything wonderful, great and beautiful that a wedding day can be.
Clémentine and Jamie are two of the nicest people you could honestly meet. They are head over heels in love with each other, something you can’t help but notice after spending a short time in their company. Jamie’s speech, particularly the parts about his new wife, was one of those ones you remember long after the day, and I knew once I heard it that it would make up the back bone of this film.
