Most years I would have needed serious motivation to go back to work on December 27th. Not this year. Within a couple of minutes of meeting Aine and David for the first time a few months ago, I had a feeling their wedding was gonna be a little bit special. And it didn’t disappoint.
The whole wedding day took place on the Boyne Hill House Estate just outside of Navan, Co. Meath. The grounds are beautiful, complete with flowing river, hidden garden, secret tunnel, and a very friendly horse.
Due to the early sunset at this time of year David & Aine decided to opt for a first look in the morning while the light was still good. It was my first time shooting a first look and it proved to be one of many special moments that took place throughout the day.
The day continued with some very memorable speeches, especially from Dave’s older brother Phil, who probably should have been handing over burn cream such, was the severity of the roasting he gave his little brother.
No good wedding is complete without some serious dance moves being thrown on the dance floor and this one didn’t disappoint.
Special mention to David Duignan, who Aine and Dave choose as their photographer for the day. An incredible talent responsible for setting up many of the stunning shots in this film.
