Little Bear Films

behind the lens

I’m Kevin, the man behind Little Bear Films. I’m a husband to my incredible wife, Louise, and a proud dad to our daughter, Florence, who joined us mid-wedding season in 2024. And let’s not forget Wilbur, our lovable lump of a dog.

I’m based in Dublin, Ireland, but I’ll shoot a wedding anywhere once. Before diving into the world of weddings, I worked in digital marketing. It was at a friend’s wedding in Italy in 2016 that I made my first ‘wedding video.’

The rest, as they say, is history. By the end of the following year, I had captured 50 weddings and had started a whole new career. I’ve never looked back, and it’s been nothing short of magic. I’ve been lucky enough to work in stunning venues across Ireland and Europe, with some truly wonderful couples.

My Approach

to wedding videography

Over the past nine years and 500 weddings, my approach to weddings has evolved. I now feel like I’m offering my couples something really special, not just in the films they receive afterward, but also in the lead-up to and on the day itself.

At the wedding, my approach is to let things unfold naturally, while still offering guidance when needed. Maintaining a calm, stress-free environment is my top priority, and nearly all my decisions on the day stem from that.

I think there is something truly magic about weddings. They have it all.

It’s honestly been one of the greatest joys of my life to be able to capture so many incredible memories for my clients over the years, and I look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.

Thanks so much for reading this far, and I hope to chat with you soon.

my other passions

Outside of weddings, I’m passionate about traveling, cooking, and hiking, but my real obsession is running.

I started running toward the tail end of the pandemic and instantly fell in love with it. My current marathon time sits at 3 hours and 4 minutes, and breaking the 3-hour mark is a lifetime goal.
